LAKE CHARLES FIRE 1980

The wife and I were driving home after going out for dinner one night, and we smelled smoke. Following our noses, we found this conflagration. We were the first ones at the scene. A newspaper photographer arrived a few minutes later. A few minutes after that, the fire engines showed up. Two structures, one a lawyer's office, were burned to the ground.
