  • CRESCENT TRAM TRAIL<br /> This trail, now gone, ran from lower Main Street down towards the ski resort. In the miner days, it was a major thoroughfare for miners going to and from home, work, and of course, the bars. When I was there, a fiesty little dog lived in the house you can barely see through the gate. He was the scourge of Crescent Tram Trail. He was a pretty nice dog, once you got to know him. Even then, he felt the need to bite me every once in a while.

  • WAGON AND OLD STAIRWAY<br /> This stairway was near the bottom of Main St, between Main & Park Ave. The wagon was used in parades. The stairway, the wagon, the vacant lot, and the little black dog are not there any more.
